Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2 Days to 6 Weeks (Depending on the availabitiy of the item in the stock) after receiving your order confirmation email. We will contact you by phone call & email and tell you the time of delivery. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

 Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for all orders within Netherlands. For outside Netherlands charges are as above.

Deliveries are made from 08:00 to 22:00 on all 7 days a week. We will contact you via WhatsApp/Text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Nieuwe Langeweg 101, 3194DC, Hoogvliet Rotterdam, Netherlands. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 days to 6 Weeks. We will send you an email or text/WhatsApp when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are only on appointments on Working Days. Please have your order confirmation email and contact us before you come.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries:

1. Belgium

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. www.SofaSelect.nl is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include Exact Date & Time of Delivery. 

If you haven’t received your order within 6 Weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] or WhatsApp +31 6 55552777 with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 1 Week days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please text/ WhatsApp, email us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Have your order delivered

You can have your order delivered. We deliver free throughout the Netherlands. And Belgium & Germany (For extra Charges).

Delivery days : 7 Days a Week.

How we work:
– Your order is prepared for delivery
– The delivery is then planned and we inform you of the expected delivery time
– On the day of delivery you will receive another message that your order has been dispatched and you will be informed of time of arrival.
– Your order will be delivered to you/

What to take into account when delivering:

Floors– We deliver your order over the threshold of the front door. 
– If Delivery address is an apartment and there is lift available and the ordered product fits in the lift then we can bring it to your apartment.
– If there is no lift in the building then we deliver it to the threshold of the stairs on the ground.

Customers Responsibility: You can indicate the living situation when ordering. If the furniture does not fit in the elevator or through the stairwell, this is at your own responsibility and the delivery service will place the furniture on the ground floor and not deliver it upstairs. We only deliver to the first threshold of the front door.

In and around the house – Make sure that the delivery aisles in and around your house are clear so that there are no obstacles during delivery.

Make sure you are at home – Make sure you are at home on the agreed delivery date and can be reached at the telephone number you have provided. When no one is home for delivery, the delivery service does not wait.

Island delivery – We do not deliver to the Wadden Islands. On the mainland in the Netherlands there are a few island carriers. Check in advance with this carrier whether you can have the order shipped to your address. We can then deliver your order to the island carrier, who will then arrange for transport to the island. You must therefore pay these additional costs yourself to the relevant carrier.

Dimensions of large products – A number of sofa parts can sometimes be longer than 2.5 meters, and therefore often do not fit through the stairwell or into the elevator. Make sure you have measured this well in advance, so that you are not faced with surprises during delivery.

Also important:

  • Your order will be delivered when all ordered items are ready for delivery.
  • All amounts on the website are in euros and include VAT.
  • We do not take back old furniture.
